Pointer Rodeo

There is this small web application, which is reachable under Pointer.rodeo, and it provides a single service at the moment. It will generate a pattern to aid you in buffer overflow exploitation.

For example you can make a request with curl and pipe it directly into your targeted application. If you see your favorite register overwritten by parts of the pattern, you can than ask Pointer.rodeo again to calculate the buffer size for you.

Why should you use this service? Because, you can! There are also alternatives shipped with Metasploit or Mona for WindDBG or Immunity Debugger.
